Judges weigh up consistency, how problems get handled when they crop up, and the feedback that comes back from customers afterwards. For a business like ours, spread across roofing, plumbing, joinery, plastering and everything in between, that means the whole team had to be pulling in the same direction.

We've always run it so a customer deals with one point of contact instead of chasing five separate trades around a job. That's harder to organise behind the scenes, but it's the reason people ring us back and the reason we ended up in this category in the first place.
